The 55w Lumi Twist represents the next generation of energy-saving compact fluorescent lighting and features several technological breakthroughs in design, performance, longevity, and reduced energy consumption.
A recent winner of the Better Business Bureau’s prestigious Torch Award, Superior Lamp Inc.’s release of the 55w Lumi Twist compact fluorescent light bulb represents their ongoing efforts to produce lighting solutions that reduce our impact on the environment and reduce costs for their customers. The 55w Lumi Twist features vents on the top, bottom, and sides and also heat sinks which quickly dissipate heat protecting vital components, such as the cathodes and circuitry. Additional innovations include the Soft Start Design that extends bulb life and color-stable phosphors that resist color shift and produce light comparable to a 300-watt incandescent bulb or 250-watt SBMV bulb.
The 55-watt Lumi Twist compact fluorescent is also built with Superior Lamp Inc.’s Freshwite Color technology which produces crisp, white light similar in color and wavelength to natural sunlight with 50 percent more seeable lumens than most standard incandescent light bulbs.
